Plexiglass, also known as acrylic glass or Plexiglas, is a material whose full name is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is transparent, lightweight, durable and easy to shape. It is generally used as an alternative to glass.

In addition to being more durable than glass, plexiglass offers a wide range of color options and can be cut and shaped easily. Thanks to these qualities it is used in many fields, for example in display windows and signage.
